About The Position
Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting an associate to join our Business Litigation practice, resident in our Des Moines office. This position offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil, and business litigation matters with a national and international client base. The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of cases, providing legal support and representation to clients in complex litigation scenarios. This role is designed for those who are eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our clients through effective legal strategies. As a Business Litigation Associate, you will work closely with senior attorneys and partners, gaining exposure to a wide range of legal issues and case types. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and preparing for trials and hearings. This position requires a strong commitment to client service and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. You will also have the opportunity to engage in client interactions, helping to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients. We are seeking candidates who are three to five years out of law school, either with recent clerkship or law firm experience. Excellent academic credentials, as well as strong organizational skills, attention to detail, writing, and analytical skills are required. Active membership in the Iowa bar is also necessary for this role.
