Requirements

• Three years of full-time customer service experience in reviewing and analyzing business license applications or related documentation.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations related to business licensing.

• Bilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, or Mandarin.
• Experience in a government or regulatory agency setting.

Responsibilities

• Process applications for privileged and other business license types.
• Provide factual information regarding licensing processes to business owners and the public.
• Review business license agenda items for completeness and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with applicants and regulatory agencies to coordinate the agenda process.
• Enter Licensing Board actions into an automated system and maintain necessary files.
• Track changes in business ownership and licensing documentation.
• Compile statistical reports regarding license activities.
• Maintain communication with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and Board meetings.
