About The Position

Conveniently located in Morris County with easy access to Routes 287, 280, 80, 10, 24, and the Convent Station train station, Saint Elizabeth University which was established in 1899 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth resides on 150 acres of picturesque rolling hills and lush woodlands. SEU offers a BS in Business Administration. The successful candidate will be expected to support our student population through teaching Business Law courses, primarily Business Law I, in support of the academic program. The course is offered in a traditional in person or hybrid format. The candidate will work in collaboration with other programs within the department as applicable.

Requirements

• A Juris Doctorate from an accredited Law School (preferred)
• Master's Degree in a relevant field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Law
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Previous college teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts
• Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data
• Support students’ learning goals by focusing on student learning outcomes
• Take into account the needs and abilities of the students
• Become familiar with academic and social support
• Make reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences
• Maintain the academic integrity of the college
• Be available to assist students in achieving their learning goals
