About The Position

AeroVironment is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Business Intern to join our SpaceTech Division. In this role, you will support programs across multiple business functions, with a particular emphasis on tracking materials and coordinating key activities essential to the delivery of flight hardware. You will collaborate closely with various departments within the organization, gaining valuable exposure to the complete business processes required for successful program execution. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional program management in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering Management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
  • A “U.S. person” according to the ITAR definition is a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Support tracking of materials, resources, and schedules for key programs
  • Coordinate activities and communicate with teams to ensure timely delivery of flight hardware
  • Assist in documentation and reporting for program progress and resource allocation
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve issues
  • Help identify and implement process improvements to optimize program flow
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders across business and engineering functions
