The Business Intelligence Analyst I is an entry-level role focused on running recurring reports, processing commissions, and providing accurate data to support the business. The position involves learning tools such as T-SQL, Excel, and SSRS to collect, validate, and deliver data across departments. In addition to maintaining established processes, the analyst will help create new reports and perform basic analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn technical skills, consistent in following workflows, and demonstrates a positive attitude aligned with the organizations core values. Requirements

  • BA/BS in a business-related field preferred (Economics, Statistics, Finance, etc.)
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Basic T-SQL
  • Basic Excel skills (lookups, filters, formulas)
  • Basic SSRS or willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies
  • Effective communication with team members and internal customers
  • Ability to follow documented processes accurately and consistently
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to seek solutions independently
  • Professionalism in all work and interactions
  • Willingness and ability to learn new reporting and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Execute recurring commission processes (data prep, validation, calculation, follow-up)
  • Review, verify, and process exceptions with department leaders
  • Run, update, and deliver recurring and procedural reports
  • Maintain data quality through routine checks and validations
  • Build SSRS or Excel-based reports with guidance
  • Write basic SQL queries (filters, sorting, joins)
  • Assist in gathering requirements for smaller reporting requests
  • Support senior analysts with data pulls and basic analysis
  • Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with your leader
  • Meet deadlines and maintain strong ticket performance
  • Uphold reporting standards, process documentation, and data security protocols
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Support and comply with 4DX commitments
