What the job involves: We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Business Intelligence to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, business insights, and performance optimization within the real estate industry. You will support business intelligence functions—from data visualization to automation—to help JLL teams deliver value through informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years completed, majoring in Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, or other related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proactive and self-directed work habits.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing business requirements.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

• Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify meaningful insights.
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather and interpret functional requirements.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, and Alteryx or similar data tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering customer service insights to various stakeholders, supporting the alignment of diverse business needs.
• Translate business needs into system and user requirements and help articulate these into actionable technical specifications.
• Support the design and development of automated reports, dashboards, and analytics to enhance data accessibility and decision-making.
• Gain hands-on experience with JLL Technologies tools, such as Tableau, for developing real-time business data insights.
• Perform data analysis on large datasets using SQL queries and other analytical tools to answer key business questions.
• Contribute to forecasting, trend analysis, and data visualization efforts that help evaluate performance and drive outcomes.
• Assist in managing system access and conducting recurring security audits, as well as troubleshooting system issues.
• Support leadership with special projects, including report creation, operational optimization, and preparation of business communications such as Quarterly Business Reports.
