About The Position
The Business Intelligence Specialist at ICW Group plays a crucial role in driving insights into business performance through quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This position is designed for individuals who are not only skilled in data analytics but also possess the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and cross-functional teams. The specialist will be responsible for collecting and aggregating data from various internal and external sources, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and ensuring data quality and adherence to departmental guidelines. The role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency. In this position, the specialist will aggregate large, complex data sets from multiple databases, delivering actionable reports that highlight key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to integrate new data sources into the existing data infrastructure and providing comprehensive analysis to support decision-making. The specialist will also be expected to conceptualize and propose reporting solutions, train staff on project deliverables, and act as a subject matter expert within the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field, with a minimum of five years of technical experience. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects BI is essential, along with experience in programming with ETL tools like Alteryx. The specialist will be expected to continuously acquire new knowledge and effectively communicate complex analyses to both internal staff and external audiences. This role is pivotal in enhancing and supporting enterprise-wide strategies for business intelligence and reporting, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of creating the best insurance experience possible.
