About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in elevating the Distribution organization’s data-driven decision making by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. In this highly visible role, you will design impactful Power BI dashboards, refine KPI frameworks, and build robust data models that strengthen performance across the distribution network. You’ll partner closely with operational leaders to understand business needs, streamline reporting processes, and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement. With hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, and DAX, you’ll help shape the organization’s reporting strategy, enhance data quality, and contribute to cross-functional BI initiatives that drive both operational excellence and long-term growth.

Requirements

At least one year of experience—through internships, co‑ops, academic projects, or early career roles—developing reports or dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Foundational knowledge or hands-on exposure to the Microsoft BI stack, including T‑SQL, Power BI Desktop, Power Query, Python, DAX, and core data modeling concepts.
Experience working with large datasets and simplifying outputs into clear, meaningful reports.
Interest in learning advanced Power BI capabilities such as Dataflows, Datamarts, Dashboards, and Power BI Apps.
Ability to analyze data and provide insights or recommendations with guidance.
Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and able to present information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in operations, distribution, or supply chain analytics, with an understanding of key performance metrics.
Skill in presenting complex data in compelling visual formats, with high attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
