About The Position

The Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst is responsible for transforming business requirements into technical solutions that enable analytics capabilities to support the strategic objectives of Medical Mutual. This role involves collaboration with Business Analysts to ensure comprehensive documentation and delivery of analytic solutions, contributing to the overall improvement of healthcare quality and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, MIS/IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 0-10+ years of experience in report design/development and healthcare data analytics, depending on the level.
• Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of systems such as MS Office, Tableau, SAS, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
• Understanding of relational databases and query tools, including PROC SQL writing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare background is a plus.
• Experience with claims data and clinical outcomes data.

Responsibilities

• Transform business requirements into BI technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Business and Quality Analysts to create innovative technical solutions.
• Document design and deliverable capabilities for BI projects.
• Participate in team reviews of requirements and design documentation processes.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and prioritize deliverables.
