About The Position

The Business Intelligence Manager at BJC HealthCare is responsible for leading a team of software developers in the Business Intelligence Data Solutions Department. This role focuses on managing the development and deployment of software solutions that facilitate data management for reporting and analytics, supporting the organization's operational goals. The manager collaborates with data architects and analytics leaders to ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices, while also mentoring and developing team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in a related field; 10+ years preferred.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience; 5-10 years preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in unit testing.
• Familiarity with data pipeline software and analytics dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6-8 software developers in the Business Intelligence Data Solutions Department.
• Develop and deploy software solutions for data management used in reporting and analytics.
• Define and manage adherence to software development standards in collaboration with BIDS architects and SMEs.
• Ensure quality of software deliverables through code reviews and adherence to industry best practices.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members, setting performance goals and providing feedback.
• Collaborate with peer leaders within BIDS and BJC to identify data and analytics needs.
• Manage departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets.
