Collette is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to be based at our headquarters in Pawtucket, RI for 32-40 hours per week. Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst Intern is responsible for supporting the BI and reporting needs of the company by implementing data management, reporting and analytics solutions. The individual will participate in gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying data sources and developing and delivering solutions. The individual will also be involved in data and report interpretation and the design and implementation of complex dashboards, queries and reports.
Responsibilities
- Become familiar with BI tools such as Power BI and how it can support decision making at Collette
- Learn SQL database queries and how this can make reporting at Collette more efficient in its reporting
- Design new reports in Power BI from previous learnings to expand the role of BI in the company
- Audit current BI reports to find overlaps and data discrepancies between reports
- Research how the Qualtrics survey database can be used effectively to support Finance and company priorities (ie. Invoicing, and other issues that customers voice concerns in the surveys and how to best disseminate this info to Finance team leaders)
- Offer insights to find gaps in reporting that would be beneficial to decision makers throughout organization (air, call center, product, operations, finance, customer service)
