About The Position

The Business Intelligence Intern will support the Research & Insights Team within the Business Intelligence Department at MSE, including, but not limited to, initiatives regarding consumer insights, data analytics, visualizations, and other projects as needed. You will learn through on-the-job experience about data acquisition and analytics. Do you have a flexible schedule? Requirements

Current undergraduate or graduate student.
Proficiently experienced with Microsoft Excel.
Outstanding work ethic and a meticulous nature.
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Well organized, thorough, and detail driven.
Able to develop and maintain successful working relationships.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Tableau and data analysis software is a plus.
Knowledge in SQL, Python, or other coding or querying languages preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze large data sets to identify relevant trends and significant data points.
Pull data sets for macro level analysis and visualization.
Research and implement creative data acquisition methodologies.
Communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical employees.
Research and implement new and emerging methodologies.
Support the department on initiatives and special projects.
Other duties as assigned.
