About The Position

Become a part of our caring community We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to join our CenterWell – Primary Care Organization (PCO) Analytics Team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports for various teams within the PCO, building positive relationships with customers to foster trust, and designing reports for the user experience (UX). You will report to a Business Intelligence Lead. This Business Intelligence Engineer 2 requires the ability to work independently, gather and analyze requirements from business partners and deliver high-quality Business Intelligence Solutions. Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on user experience (UX). Meet with report requesters to understand their needs and requirements, design prototypes using Figma or other wireframing tools, and conduct user testing. Optimize and maintain Snowflake SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other business intelligence tools. Document processes, technical designs, and report configurations. Collaborate within the team and outside of the team to build and maintain strong relationships. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field.
  • 1+ years using SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and query tuning.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, for developing and maintaining data visualization, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and provide solutions for business or data issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships.
  • Curiosity and highly motivated to learn new tools and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • Previous experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlikview, SSRS, or other similar technologies.
  • Experience in Python or other object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors.
  • Experience with wireframing tools for prototyping, such as Figma.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time.
