About The Position

Business Intelligence Engineer Medlytix is an industry leading healthcare technology company specializing in the field of predictive analytics. Utilizing sophisticated data mining and data processing functionalities, the company has successfully enhanced revenue cycles and collections for our clients across the country. We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with a minimum of 4 years' experience to join the Reporting & Analytics team in providing business intelligence support to internal departments and external clients. The successful candidate must possess a strong working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, a proven ability to code in SQL and experience with a programming language such as Python . Experience with AI technologies and applications is a significant plus. This position requires both analytical and business acumen.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer / Analyst is preferred.
• Possess creative and analytical thinking as well as a strong understanding of statistical methods.
• Good understanding of finance and/or healthcare revenue.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with strict adherence to timelines and deadlines.
• Effective in multitasking & prioritization of assignments.
• Proven direct in-depth scripting/coding SQL experience.
• A knowledge of python is preferred.
• Good understanding of relational databases and database design.
• Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence software applications (e.g., Power BI, Oracle, etc.)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI technologies and applications is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive data analysis to identify possible issues and/or opportunities, with an emphasis on identifying client, vendor and internal processing that falls outside of predefined norms or thresholds.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to answer business questions and resolve data issue
• Create Tableau visualizations & reporting that drive performance optimization and growth opportunities to our internal and external customers.
• Maintain, optimize and automate current reports.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of Medlytix's products, processes, and databases.
• Document processes, procedures, and data flows.
