About The Position
Amazon's Global Supply Chain (GSC) is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer for the Supply Chain Strategic Programs team in defining and shaping Amazon's supply chain's long-term strategy. We are responsible for end-to-end cost to serve strategy and profitability initiatives across operations to drive step-functional changes to the operations network. Our solutions address the needs of the inbound and outbound network in order to meet the speed, cost, and resiliency demands of our customers. In this role, you will be leveraging various analytic and visualization techniques to support data-driven storytelling, and look around corners to continuously raise the bar on our business insights capabilities. You will develop a deep understanding of how products flow through our network, identify areas of opportunity, and collaborate with teams across inbound supply chain and customer outbound to propose disruptive ideas. You will develop original analyses to solve ambiguous business challenges through data gathering, automation, standardization, and reporting.
