Nautilus is looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Developer Intern with strong work ethic that can thrive in a team environment as well as independently. In addition to robust analytical skills, the candidate must have effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The individual in this position shall identify, obtain, and use data to construct decision support tools & reports for all areas of the Company through analysis, thorough understanding of data, and application of technical expertise, to ensure needs are addressed and problems are resolved consistent with overall Company goals.

Requirements

• Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong Excel and SQL scripting skills
• Understanding of programming fundamentals (Python/R)
• Understanding of database development/management (SSMS)
• Understanding of data modeling and data visualization techniques (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Excellent organization skills, able to handle multiple tasks at once
• Willingness to tackle challenges with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and design data-based decision tools.
• Create new reports and update existing reports providing insights to business partners
• Collects, reviews, and analyzes information relative to current operations to support management requests.
• Creates tools, models and reports to solve problems through the most efficient and effective use of time, software & equipment
• Collaborate with team members on department, company, and enterprise-wide projects
