About The Position

Liberty Resources is a multifaceted, growing non-profit headquartered in Syracuse New York, providing services and expertise in integrated medical care, behavioral health, and social services. Liberty Resources is currently seeking a Data Analyst to work with our in-house Business Intelligence team on developing and ensuring the integrity and quality of the organization’s data assets. The Data Analyst is responsible for designing ETL processes for integration of company databases, data reporting and data visualization development, and developing solutions to automate business processes. The Data Analyst is responsible for empowering users with data and insight to improve performance and drive business decisions.

Requirements

  • Positive and enthusiastic, able to easily work with others, regardless of their technical proficiency
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative in approach to solving problems
  • Strong SQL skills. Writing SQL is a significant part of what we do
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information of a confidential nature.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in MS SQL a plus
  • Experience in Python scripting a plus
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records a plus
  • Experience in business analytics, mathematics or computer science

Responsibilities

  • Develops ETL processes to integrate company databases and external data sources.
  • Designs and develops stored procedures, views and functions using T-SQL.
  • Create reports and data visualizations in Tableau
  • Conduct data quality assessments and develop strategies to identify and mitigate data integrity issues.
  • Responds to Data Reporting Help Desk requests.
  • Ensure the quality of the data that is available to end users
  • Identify and lead operational improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of tools and processes which make the team more efficient
  • Collaborate with teams that support us (IT, HIT, Quality)
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with staff at all levels throughout the agency.
