Join our dynamic team at the Small Business Analytics Office, where we deliver business intelligence and analytical tools to enhance book management and monitoring. As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining comprehensive analytical solutions for Small Business. We are looking for an organized self-starter who is eager to learn new technologies and enable data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Experience building business intelligence and analytics tools is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights for key stakeholders.
  • Experience with Tableau and/or ThoughtSpot is preferred.
  • Experience with Snowflake or cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Interest in exploring GenAI solutions and new technologies.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify cause/effect relationships, and explore alternative solutions for decision making.
  • Confident self-starter capable of independently driving multiple concurrent tasks to completion.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile framework is a plus.
  • Property & Casualty insurance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement end-to-end business intelligence and analytical solutions.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or other advanced visualization tools.
  • Transform raw data sets into actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Create functional and technical documentation for solutions.
  • Provide training on all delivered tools.
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify requirements and business needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and data consumers.
  • Analyze data using Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools to develop insights.
  • Support business partners with reporting, dashboards, and other analytic solutions.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business teams.
  • Lead projects and work streams independently, engaging appropriate resources as needed.
