The Business Intelligence and Process Automation Analyst at Air Products plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable business insights. Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Design, develop, and implement automated workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored BI solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of BI tools with existing systems and databases, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and automation.
- Proficiency in SQL or Excel (including macros, VBA, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with process automation and workflow optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous improvement methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum.
