About The Position

Provide technical support, data analysis, and reporting to stakeholders within Global Risk Operations. Leverage available tools and automated technologies to deliver insightful reporting, drive process improvements, and reduce manual effort. Provide actionable insights to optimize collections, minimize delinquencies, and enhance the accuracy of billing, reconciliations, and merchant settlements. For a period of time, this role may also share responsibility for ensuring data integrity and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements through the administration of audits, controls, and risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Analytical mind that can troubleshoot, problem solve, and think logically through multi-faceted issues.
  • Intermediate or better MS Excel, Access, and Oracle database experience.
  • Coding skills (SQL, Macros, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with basic data cleaning and exploratory data analysis techniques.
  • Complex problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and planning skills.
  • Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation.

  • Ability to provide training and documentation.
  • Operational process re-engineering experience.
  • Experience with low-code automation tools such as UIPath.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as PowerBI and Looker Studio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data analysis and reporting to department stakeholders.
  • Administration of departmental reporting, including KPIs and management dashboards, issue management and analysis, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Implement processes, workflows, and reporting to track work items, volume, turnaround time, and ensure accurate capture of required data.
  • Analyze trends and other data as requested by management, including development of ad-hoc reports as necessary.
  • Deliver innovative report building alternatives to reduce manual effort using current applications and automated technology.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather appropriate data and collaborate on timelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and administrator of key software solutions and technical tools.
  • Leverage WEX applications to improve departmental effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate operational processes.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Design and build small-scale automation solutions to eliminate manual tasks.
  • Analyze process workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gather requirements and implement process changes.
  • Maintain evidence of and metrics related to the department's SOX controls program.
