About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the Sales Operations team by delivering data-driven insights, building reporting solutions, and assisting in the management of cross-functional projects. This is a junior-level role ideal for a technically strong, analytically driven professional with experience in Power BI, SQL, and process automation. The role will partner closely with Sales, IT, and the Analytics team to ensure accurate reporting, streamlined data processes, and successful execution of Sales Ops initiatives. Over time, this individual will take ownership of key BI and process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • 0 - 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related role (internships included)
  • Experience with: Power BI (dashboard creation and data visualization) SQL (data querying and validation) Excel (advanced functions, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Exposure to CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP environments
  • Familiarity with Python or R for analysis
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects or PM activities
  • Understanding of sales operations metrics and KPIs
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards and reports (Power BI preferred) to track sales performance, KPIs, pipeline health, and operational metrics
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate data from enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouse)
  • Support data modeling and contribute to enhancements of sales data marts
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation of reporting logic
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to Sales leadership and Sales Ops stakeholders
  • Support project management efforts for Sales Ops initiatives, including system enhancements, reporting rollouts, and process improvements
  • Liaise with IT and Analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and documentation.
  • Assist in change management efforts including training materials and stakeholder communications
  • Gradually assume ownership of defined BI and automation projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automate recurring workflows
  • Support development of workflow solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) or similar tools
  • Contribute to documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within Sales Operations
