About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst designs and delivers enterprise analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This role transforms raw data into scalable, governed reporting and data models that support strategic decision-making. Working cross-functionally, the analyst develops dashboards, manages Lakehouse architecture and pipeline processes, and ensures data accuracy, security, and performance to enable consistent, reliable, and self-service analytics across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in semantic data modeling, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and best practices.
  • Exceptional data analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to execute.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Report and Dashboard Development Develop and implement Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models within Microsoft Fabric environment to support enterprise reporting and self-server analytics.
  • Design visually appealing, user-friendly, and performance-optimized reporting that provide actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise analytics solutions using the Microsoft Fabric platform including Lakehouse architecture, Dataflows Gen2, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Transform raw data into governed, scalable, and consumable analytical assets that support organizational decision-making.
  • Maintain data consistency and reliability across reporting platforms through standardized data modeling and governance practices.
  • Data Modeling and Management Manage and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data governance.
  • Contribute to Lakehouse data modeling strategies and enterprise data architecture within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Support ELT/ETL processes through Fabric pipelines to enable reliable and efficient data ingestion and transformation.
  • Manage and maintain Power BI semantic models to ensure consistency, scalability, and optimized performance across enterprise reporting.
  • Work with business users to define data requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
  • SQL Querying and Data Extraction Design and develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency and troubleshoot data extraction issues as needed.
  • Integration and Collaboration Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Implement analytics architecture aligned with Microsoft Fabric best practices and modern analytics engineering principles.
  • Promote enterprise self-service analytics by delivering scalable, user-friendly data models and reporting assets.
  • Work closely with business users to gather feedback and iterate on reports and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
  • Additional Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements to existing reports and dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and standardization of reporting processes and data visualization techniques.
