Data Collection and Analysis (40%) Gather data from multiple sources, including internal databases, external systems, and industry benchmarks. Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability. Perform in-depth analysis of healthcare data (clinical, financial, operational) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies, generating regular and ad-hoc reports for executives, department heads, and clinical staff. Develop standardized reports using electronic medical records and other analytics tools. Contribute to data warehouse development to improve data accessibility and support advanced analytics 2. Reporting and Visualization (30%) Customize reports and analyses to meet the specific needs of finance and operations stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Design and develop interactive dashboards and visually compelling data presentations that effectively communicate complex information and insights. Utilize advanced data visualization techniques to present key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, resource utilization, and financial metrics in a clear and actionable manner. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data visualization to continually improve reporting capabilities and user experience. 3. Health IT Reporting Tools and Issue Management Systems (20%) Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of internal operational reporting platforms, including SharePoint-based tools used to track issues, workflow barriers, and system improvement needs. Manage structured issue intake and resolution workflows (e.g., ticketing systems) to ensure timely routing, escalation, and closure of electronic health record and clinical operations concerns. Partner with IT, Clinical Services, and Quality Improvement teams to design standardized categories, dashboards, and reporting outputs that improve visibility into recurring system challenges. Develop and enhance internal tools for safety event reporting and incident documentation to support patient safety, risk mitigation, and organizational learning. Create leadership-facing summaries and dashboards that track issue volume, resolution time, escalation patterns, and improvement outcomes. 4. Training and Performance Improvement (10%) Develop and conduct training sessions to enhance data literacy and analytic skills across departments. Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis workflows through training and support. Drive cross-functional initiatives to implement automation and standardization enhancing operational efficiency. Collaborate with performance improvement teams to develop and test interventions aimed at addressing identified issues. Education: Requires Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Health Administration, Public Health, Data Science, or Informatics. 2. Licensure: N/A 3. Experience: Three or more years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or performance improvement, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows, operational processes, and healthcare data sources required. Experience working with electronic health record systems (e.g., AthenaOne or similar) and supporting data-driven quality, safety, and operational improvement initiatives is preferred. Prior experience supporting internal reporting platforms, workflow tools, or issue management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate, or ticketing solutions) is strongly desired. 4. Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to develop interactive dashboards, executive-level reporting, and operational analytics that support decision-making across clinical, financial, and administrative domains. Working knowledge of healthcare data governance, data validation, reporting standardization, and performance metric development. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, with strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 5. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for clinical and non-clinical audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Quality Improvement, Clinical Services, IT, Finance, Operations, and site leadership. 6. Physical Effort: Frequent computer uses and extended periods of sitting. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and or twist up to 25 lbs occasionally 7. Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with variable hours. The role is primarily onsite; however, limited hybrid work may be considered based on job responsibilities, performance, and organizational needs. 8. Travel: Interoffice travel to each center maybe required. Mileage will be reimbursed as per GLBHC policy when utilizing a personal vehicle.
