Requirements

  • Education/Training: A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required, or a high school diploma or equivalent with specialized analytics or Banking services experience and training; obtain and maintain appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification.
  • Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; above average interpersonal relations, communicative skills, advanced proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and implementing various strategies; innovative with creative thinking skills, strong organizational and time management; strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite; report writing software; proficient analytical skills and problem solving capabilities; visual and auditory skills. Ability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing 25 lbs. or less; valid driver’s license
  • Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in financial services positions normally required. Two (2) year experience as Business Intelligence Analyst I required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely report generation:
  • Work with management to develop quality and accurate reports.
  • Utilize knowledge of Bank data and Bank processes to mine for important facts and statistics to utilize in future reports.
  • Provide reports and suggestions to management to ensure data is being stored accurately or to facilitate any cleanup of data (including house holding).
  • Manage the retention of reports.
  • Act as a backup to another Business Intelligence Analyst(s).
  • Coordinate and provide support with necessary areas within the Company to ensure successful setup and use of house holding, super house holding, and profitability modeling.
  • Provide support to necessary personnel for the Profitability.
  • Organize and Communicate Digital Banking channel and product enhancements.
  • Maintain current awareness of industry developments and trends which affect Digital Banking through trade or other publications, outside visits, meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Keep current on all updates of Digital Banking products and provide updates to product owners. Coordinate changes to Digital Banking channels and products by adhering to SDLC policies and procedures and Technology Steering Committee governance.
  • Works with internal audit, external audit, and the examiners when necessary.
  • Cross-sells all bank products and services when opportunities are presented.
  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the division as well as with other departments and divisions to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
  • Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or per an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
  • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
