About The Position

Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst II – IT Resource Informatics Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together (Strong SQL & Tableau experience needed) Work location: Texas Health Resources, 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011 Primarily remote however, must live in the DFW area or be willing to relocate to the DFW area. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or relevant field. 4 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree (Required)
  • 3 Years Relevant work experience, with a Bachelor's degree, to include some combination of the following:
  • Experience performing systems administration for complex BI reporting (tools such as: CData, Alteryx, Python, Teradata, Tableau, Power BI environments. (Required)
  • Experience with Relational Databases and Structured Query language (SQL) in addition to PowerQuery experience. (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Dashboard & Report Development
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that meet business needs.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using approved tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SSRS).
  • Translate business requirements into reporting solutions with guidance from senior team members.
  • Ensure reports are accessible, accurate, and aligned with design standards.
  • Participate in testing and validation of reporting outputs.
  • Data Source Management & Integration
  • Assists in managing data sources and ensuring reliable data access across platforms
  • Maintain and troubleshoot data connections in collaboration with tool owners and technical teams.
  • Work with DBAs and Data Analysts to understand data structures and support data source updates.
  • Document data source configurations and assist in maintaining reporting environment stability.
  • Support & Issue Resolution
  • Provides support for reporting tools and resolves issues in coordination with senior staff and tool owners.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of reporting errors and data connectivity issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or tool owners as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data sources.
  • Monitor scheduled reports and assist with automation tasks.
