Eligible candidates will be required to be local due to in person requests Under direct supervision of senior team members and Analytics leaders, Business Intelligence Analyst I delivers analytics solutions to end users that facilitate informed decision making. Enhances data literacy by educating customers to use data to improve MyMichigan Health processes, patient outcomes and patient & provider engagement and assists in developing training approaches. Competently uses tools to generate reports, dashboards & analytical solutions according to business needs or specifications. Manages time across multifaceted projects that range in size from small to medium. Is adaptable to changing priorities and assists in supporting analytics development alignment with strategic priorities. Demonstrates ability to work independently and/or in a team to train, guide, or assist others to utilize data to gain insights. Performs in-depth healthcare focused data analysis utilizing a variety of tools including Tableau, Excel, and Epic based analytics features. Has experience or expertise with at least one coding language such as SQL or Python. Has or is able to develop subject matter expertise for one or more application modules/data models within Epic or a specialized data analysis tool. Analyst is able to turn data into information or insights that assists in answering business questions, problems or clinical outcome understandings. Must complete Epic certification in 120 days of hiring.
