About The Position
Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals seeking limitless possibilities. We are looking for a Business Insurance Placement Specialist to market property/casualty insurance risks. This role involves marketing new business and renewal accounts, developing and maintaining professional relationships with underwriters and brokers, and understanding the regulatory, legislative, and legal issues surrounding critical business insurance situations. The specialist will analyze clients' risks to determine appropriate insurance coverage, evaluate available insurance options, negotiate with underwriters and brokers, and provide technical assistance to producers and account managers. Additionally, the role includes reviewing losses and safety inspections, utilizing the Agency Management System to track quotes, and preparing proposals from quotes received from insurance companies.
