About The Position

Develops data and analytics supporting growth and profitability in a region, or part of a region. Performs detailed analysis of product, pricing, and growth at a countrywide, regional, and state level. Supports and collaborates closely with field leadership and within Product Management in the development and implementation of state strategies through increased analysis, marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, pricing segmentation, and line and segment level analysis with autonomy and limited supervision.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years insurance product experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in the area of business management, mathematics, management information, finance, actuarial science, economics or other analytics related field.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Proactively approaches responsibilities.
  • Able to take limited conceptual direction and deliver high quality work on time.
  • Possesses strong technical aptitude.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required.
  • SaaS, SQL abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs data analysis that support growth and profitability in a region, or part of a region.
  • Conducts detailed analysis of product, pricing, and growth at a countrywide, regional, and state level.
  • Analyzes marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, pricing segmentation, and line and segment level analysis with support from manager.
  • Collaborates with business partners, making recommendations towards desired business outcomes.
  • Influences stakeholders and peers in the management of a countrywide line of business.
  • Develops increasing understanding of interacting variables in marketplace execution.
  • Completes and maintains competitive and market plan analysis as needed by leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provides recommendations using analysis and interpretation of rates, data, and trends.
  • Creates and maintains a collaborative relationship with field partners who support local strategies.
  • Trains, assimilates, and formally mentors new team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
