About The Position

The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Business Insurance Associate to join our M3 Sales Development Track, a comprehensive career development program designed to launch your rewarding insurance career. You'll work closely with our experienced team members, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of the insurance business while contributing to our team's success from day one. How You Will Make an Impact Acquire essential industry and product line knowledge in Employee Benefits Demonstrate business acumen and relationship building skills to consult effectively with business leaders Collaborate with sales leadership to identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities Partner with Client Service and Risk Management teams to service and retain existing accounts Actively participate in all stages of the sales process with emphasis on origination and prospecting Lead prospect outreach and schedule appointments for Client Executives Participate in association and networking events to build your professional network Partner with Client Managers to process new and renewal business and review policies and quotes for accuracy. Prepare critical deliverables such as binders, certificates of insurance, and client reports Assist with special requests as needed by clients (including but not limited to data collection, preparing reports, and researching questions). Update Epic and Salesforce systems with pertinent prospecting and client activity notes What You Will Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree, or an associate’s degree from an insurance program, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Life, Accident, and Health Wisconsin Insurance License required or ability to obtain Insurance designation required Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks while managing interruptions Demonstrated openness to learning new skills and genuine interest in the insurance industry Ability to share experiences through written reports and presentations Willingness to travel to client sites approximately 25% of the time Flexibility to work standard business hours (8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday) Join Us Your role at M3 won’t be about the boundaries presented in a job description – it’s about the possibilities that you can envision once you walk through the doors on your first day. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or an associate’s degree from an insurance program, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Life, Accident, and Health Wisconsin Insurance License required or ability to obtain
