About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Business Insurance Account Manager who will be responsible for managing a high-profile book of business that is complex and generates substantial revenue critical to the company's operations. The role involves overseeing the renewal process, providing insurance advice on technical aspects and service support for new and renewal business, and maintaining client retention of existing accounts. The Account Manager will also be responsible for communication and client service with both internal and external clients, mastering the Sagitta Agency Management System, mentoring associates, problem-solving, managing client claims, overseeing accounts receivables/payables, and ensuring effective time management and organization. Professional growth and development are also key components of this role.

Requirements

• College degree desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current 2-20 license
• Extensive knowledge of business insurance policy contracts/coverages
• Extensive understanding of the regulatory, legislative and legal issues surrounding critical commercial situations, including understanding of marketplace and market conditions
• Working knowledge of Sagitta Agency Management System, or willingness to learn
