Job Description SUMMARY The Business Insights Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven strategies by converting complex data into meaningful insights that inform high-impact decisions. This position partners with cross-functional leaders to identify strategic priorities, design and optimize analytical frameworks, and deliver forward-looking recommendations. The role emphasizes not just reporting but influencing business direction through actionable intelligence and performance-driven insights.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Insights or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics or related field.

  • Experience in a Banking/Financial Services and Payments.
  • Understanding of financial metrics and business operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools, e.g., Power BI, Tableau and Qlik.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products, e.g., Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, e.g., Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Experience with SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Manipulate and Analyze data from multiple sources and derive insights
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Perform validation of data and troubleshoot executive reporting issues.
  • Business Strategy Support:
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data trends to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and optimization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work with executives, managers, and technical teams to understand the data analytics and KPIs needs of the business and deliver corresponding solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify gaps in current state and reporting processes and propose corresponding improvements.
  • Automate recurring executive reports and streamline reporting data workflows.
  • Agile Methodologies:
  • Experience with agile practice including backlog management and defining user stories.
