Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree program
  • Ten years of experience in information security
  • Skills in Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Conceptual Skills, Decision Making, Functional and Technical Skills, Dependability, Information Security Policies.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Ability to translate technical security concepts into business language.
  • Experience in project management and resource allocation.
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Experience with information security in cloud environments.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and practices
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and translate high level objectives into detailed tasks
  • Ability to prioritize work with multiple, simultaneous work assignments
  • Ability to weigh business risks and enforce appropriate information security measures

Nice To Haves

  • Multilingual – Fluent in English and at least one other language
  • Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with securing host, database, and application solutions for multi-tier systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability management & penetration testing.
  • Experience implementing PCI & FFIEC compliant solutions and ensuring audit compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Professional Services business unit to identify security needs.
  • Align security and compliance initiatives with business unit objectives and strategies.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies that support business unit goals.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineering teams and business unit to develop security budgets and resource allocation for security initiatives.
  • Advise business unit and IT leadership with respect to cybersecurity threats, initiatives, risks and policies.
  • Participate in security risk assessment and closing security gaps within the business unit.
  • Communicate business unit security risks and policies to executive management.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Represent NCR Voyix’s CISO in customer interactions involving sales and delivery of Professional Services.
  • Act as a liaison during security incidents, helping business units respond effectively and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Manage a small global team of Information Security engineers and architects.
  • International travel required.
