Business Information Mgmt Analyst II (US) provides a range of business information management functions to support the various areas of data and analytics. Works under general guidance of other senior team members in partnership with subject matter experts to design, develop and support business information management solutions for the segment. This role requires experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within their own specialty, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and fluency in at least one programming language. The analyst leads projects or work streams within broader projects with moderate risk and may be accountable for managing ongoing activities, processes, and functional programs. They are accountable for their own work and sometimes others, acting as an escalation point or knowledge resource for others in their own area. The position involves working with very large datasets and familiarity with big data technologies, and the ability to work with minimal direction on multiple projects and priorities. The analyst keeps abreast of rapid business and technology innovation within the business information management field and is familiar with visualization tools. They analyze, design, and develop data repositories, warehouses, and marts, as well as data movement, data wrangling, data mapping, and transformation (ETL) processes. The role supports solutions, applications, platforms, and/or tools that are leveraged across all functional groups, including Data Scientists and Business Insights & Analytics.
