Your day at NTT DATA Global IP Network is seeking a full-time Business Generalist Intern to work collaboratively with the Strategic Innovation Office. This role supports cross-functional planning, research, organizational, and operational activities across areas such as office and project management, sales, marketing, and sourcing. The Intern’s broad responsibilities include research, collect, analyze, and report data; assist with presentations and documentation, and support day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong written communication, time management, critical thinking, and the ability to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions while working with minimal supervision and maintaining confidentiality. Essential Functions/Duties: To be successful in this internship, the intern must be able to perform the essential functions of the role. Generalist Responsibilities Gain practical knowledge and experience in assigned business functions or specializations Conduct research and remain current on industry trends relevant to assigned areas Provide administrative and operational support, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, filing, and record keeping Assist with preparation, review, and distribution of reports, presentations, and research materials Collect, enter, track, and review data for accuracy; identify discrepancies and escalate issues as appropriate Provide low-complexity client or stakeholder inquiries under supervision and maintain appropriate documentation Contribute to team initiatives and client engagement efforts Participate in assigned business-focus projects by researching topics and proposing ideas and solutions Create, update, and maintain PowerPoint presentations and related materials Office and Project Management Support day-to-day office operations, including organization of shared spaces, materials, and documentation Assist with ongoing projects by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables Coordinate logistics for meetings and in-person activities, including scheduling, room setup, and materials preparation Enter, update, submit, and track project-related data, requests, or supplies using established systems Create, maintain, or improve processes or tools to organize, track, and report project or operational information Prepare summaries, status updates, and basic reports for internal use Perform in-person support tasks as needed, including light physical activities such as moving materials or setting up meeting spaces Other assigned duties not already mentioned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in business research, market trends, and best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Currently enrolled in a higher education program leading to a bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field

  • Entry level position requiring 0–1-year experience
