About The Position

Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Business & Financial Management (BFM) Analyst to provide programmatic, financial, and administrative support to a diverse portfolio of DoD-relevant research programs. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day business operations, financial execution, and coordination activities, ensuring accurate budget tracking, timely deliverables, and effective communication across government, performer, and contractor teams. Candidate has hands-on experience with government budgeting processes, acquisition documentation, and financial systems, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility research environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management, or a related field.
Minimum of six years of relevant financial and administrative support experience, including direct DARPA program support.
Demonstrated experience developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining program budgets.
Experience creating and coordinating budget and acquisition funding documents.
Strong analytical skills with attention to financial and technical detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Experience organizing and facilitating small to medium-sized meetings up to 100 participants.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of U.S. Government budget and contracting processes.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively in high-tempo environment.
Proficiency with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and experience creating or modifying Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
Secret Clearance required (Top Secret preferred)
