About The Position

Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Business & Financial Management (BFM) Analyst to provide programmatic, financial, and administrative support to a diverse portfolio of DoD-relevant research programs. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day business operations, financial execution, and coordination activities, ensuring accurate budget tracking, timely deliverables, and effective communication across government, performer, and contractor teams. Candidate has hands-on experience with government budgeting processes, acquisition documentation, and financial systems, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility research environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant financial and administrative support experience, including direct DARPA program support.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining program budgets.
  • Experience creating and coordinating budget and acquisition funding documents.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to financial and technical detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience organizing and facilitating small to medium-sized meetings up to 100 participants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Government budget and contracting processes.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively in high-tempo environment.
  • Proficiency with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and experience creating or modifying Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
  • Secret Clearance required (Top Secret preferred)

  • Prior experience supporting multiple concurrent R&D or technical programs.
  • Experience supporting senior DoD or research agency leadership.
  • Familiarity with DARPA solicitation development and performer tracking.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
