Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY, is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor in our Business Administration program to teach classes in Beginning Entrepreneurship ENT-101 and Advanced Entrepreneurship ENT-201. ENT-101: This introductory course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, and the factors that promote and challenge the creation and success of a small business. Students will research and identify an opportunity and prepare a preliminary plan for launching their chosen business. Students will use their preliminary plan as the basis for their business plan proposal in the Advanced Entrepreneurship Course. ENT-201: This advanced course builds on the knowledge of entrepreneurial principles learned in ENT 101, Introduction to Entrepreneurship. The course culminates with the creation and presentation of a finalized business plan proposal, based on student preliminary work from ENT 101 Introduction to Entrepreneurship. Prerequisite(s): ENT 101. This course is taught on main campus and is face-to-face. The Adjunct instructor is responsible for all aspects of preparation, instruction, and classroom management. These include, but are not limited to: learning management system (LMS) integration and maintenance, instruction and content delivery, preparing and grading assignments and exams, timely responses to student inquiries, and assessing student performance relative to standardized learning objectives.
