About The Position

We're a fast-growing startup revolutionizing tech hiring through our Match Day platform. We're building the first agentic hiring marketplace where top engineers join and receive interview requests directly from leading AI companies - complete with confirmed salary numbers upfront. Recently launched, we've already attracted thousands of engineers to our platform and are connecting them with the most innovative companies in tech. We're seeking a relationship-driven sales professional to represent our recruiting platform in the New York market. This is a full-cycle sales/business development role with account management responsibilities that combines industry expertise with hands-on execution. This role requires someone who can leverage existing networks, build scalable sales processes, and manage the complete client lifecycle from prospecting through renewals.

Requirements

  • Strong existing network in the NYC tech recruiting ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of recruiting processes, pain points, and account management best practices
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships through the full lifecycle from prospecting to renewals
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, ambiguous environment with minimal structure
  • Self-directed with ability to develop sales processes from scratch
  • Experience representing a company at industry events

Responsibilities

  • Drive new client acquisition through your network in the NYC tech recruiting ecosystem, building relationships with VCs, talent partners, and portfolio companies
  • Own the complete client lifecycle from prospecting through renewals - manage the full sales cycle, then handle ongoing account management, Match Day collaboration, and strategic relationship expansion
  • Represent Fonzi at 2+ NYC events monthly - show up, set up, facilitate, and work the room at our hosted industry events
  • Build scalable sales processes from scratch while working closely and cross-functionally with Marketing, Recruiting, and Engineering teams to improve our product as we figure out what works in this early-stage environment
