About The Position

You'll focus your time on coaching your team, refining outreach strategies, and figuring out the best ways to connect with potential clients. Hybrid schedule- work from our Atlanta (Ponce City) office 3 days per week, 2 days elsewhere You'll represent a software product that combines decades of trusted expertise with modern tools like Sage Ai. Our software makes work easier and more efficient for our customers - that's why they love it. Uncapped earnings: We believe that if you did the work, you should get rewarded. Our compensation is structured as base salary and commission, with realistic on-target earnings. 10 paid days for volunteering and learning: Through Sage Foundation, you can donate your skill-based support or manual labor to causes you care about 5 days per year. Another 5 days per year can be spent engaging in learning opportunities that interest you, because we care about your development at Sage. Summary of your day-to-day: Most of your day will be spent hands-on with a team of Business Development Representatives. They'll look to you for tips on outreach, objection handling, and turning prospects into qualified leads, while you keep an eye on their performance metrics and pipeline forecasts. At the same time, you'll work cross-functionally to align messaging and strategies, streamline processes, adopt and scale tools, hire, onboard, and keep your team motivated and engaged. Key ResponsibilitiesKey performance metrics (KPMs): Everyone wants to know what's expected of them, and they want to be supported in achieving those goals too. Growing Sage is our main focus, so you can expect to have plenty of resources enabling you to experience your best work yet.

Requirements

  • Hands-on people leadership experience
  • Sales development expertise
  • Experience translating business objections into actionable plans
  • Experience using data and KPIs to make decisions
  • Skilled in CRM systems and sales tools for reporting, workflows, and campaigns

Responsibilities

  • Total qualified opportunities generated by the team
  • Percentage of leads successfully qualified into sales pipeline
  • Average time taken to qualify and hand off leads to AEs
  • BDR tenure and career progression within Sage
