About the position

The Business Development Specialist is a key member of the sales team, responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing customers within a designated geographic territory. This role focuses on identifying potential customers, developing tailored value propositions, and closing deals to meet customer needs, while collaborating with various internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Target new business opportunities by identifying potential new customers and growing revenue.
  • Conduct background research on potential customers and discuss their supply chain with decision makers.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop value propositions and customized pricing.
  • Maintain regular communication with managers and sales representatives regarding joint sales opportunities and lead generation.
  • Navigate internal processes to coordinate support and solutions with internal teams.
  • Produce and present competitive and market-based pricing to customers using negotiation skills.
  • Collaborate with sales peers, marketing, finance, and operations to identify issues and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of business-to-business sales experience, or two years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
