About The Position

First Solar's Business Development, Sales & Origination team is at the forefront of managing sales and relationships with buyers of First Solar PV module technology across various customer groups, including Developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Utilities, and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms. As the leading supplier of utility-scale solar projects in the U.S. market, First Solar is expanding this dynamic team to engage comprehensively within the national utility-scale solar development sector. The Business Development & Sales Analyst II plays a pivotal role in this environment, responsible for critical operational and customer-facing actions that include pricing modeling, energy performance modeling, bid support, and the preparation of sales presentations. This position also involves conducting competitive landscape analyses and managing various sales systems and processes. The Business Development Analyst II will work cross-functionally with several departments, including Product Management, Demand Allocation, Technical Sales, Fulfillment, Contract Execution, and Logistics. This role requires the ability to navigate conversations with both internal and external stakeholders, including executive leaders from First Solar and customer companies. Given the importance of this position in supporting First Solar's primary market and ambitious sales targets, the Analyst will engage directly in key sales processes and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
