About The Position

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating high-quality sales opportunities within target accounts for the AMER/EMEA Account Executive team. You will play a key role in identifying and engaging potential clients, fostering relationships, and driving the early stages of the sales pipeline. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our sales team and overall business. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who live close to our Pasadena, CA office and will be happy to work 2 days onsite.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in outbound sales is desirable
  • A genuine interest in technology and ability to learn and understand technical information
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to develop and repurpose sales and marketing copy and articulate key business drivers to multiple personas
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in using CRM Software would be beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Qualify opportunities with existing and new accounts via call, email, social media, and marketing contacts.
  • Manage ‘pool’ accounts and take control of prospecting, both within and outside provided cadences.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with technical and business decision-makers.
  • Research prospects, identify key contacts, and update Salesforce records.
  • Collaborate weekly with Account Executives for strategic planning.
  • Meet KPIs for high contact volume through calls and emails daily.
  • Achieve monthly quotas for outbound meetings generated for Account Executives.
  • Map prospective accounts' organizational structure, people, and existing technology.
  • Identify business pains, objectives, and impacts on prospects' organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Field Marketing team on customer needs, messaging, and ABM leads.
