About The Position

We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Marketing & Lead Generation Team! We are looking for a smart, gritty, and driven individual to establish and grow new relationships with customers across a variety of exciting industries! This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States. If you prefer, you may choose to work in a hybrid capacity or on-site at our corporate headquarters in State College, PA - but this is completely optional and not required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or associates degree preferred
  • 1-5 years of customer-supporting experience
  • Track record of building strong cross-functional relationships/partnerships
  • Experience with cold-calling
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Resourceful and able to find innovative ways to achieve results
  • Ability to travel less than 25% to customer sites or tradeshows, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new sales demonstration opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging
  • Understand and uncover customer pain points as well as how KCF Technologies solves these issues thought our value proposition and comprehensive machine health platform
  • Research accounts, identify key targets, collaborate with sales executives, and generate interest in KCF while maintaining a well-organized database of prospects within defined business verticals
  • Responsible for hunting new business and building a sales funnel of new opportunities for the greater sales team by scheduling well qualified demonstrations of KCF Technologies capabilities by achieving monthly quotas for calls, emails, demonstrations, sites visits, and webinar attendance
  • Be fully competent in communicating KCF products, services, and value proposition
  • Promptly respond to customer requests and enlist help from other KCF employees as necessary
