About The Position

The Opportunity at Altana We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. You will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. If you are motivated and results-driven, we want to talk with you. As a BDR, you will identify potential customers, generate new business opportunities, and manage leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet our company's goals. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of sales success.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in sales or client-facing role

Responsibilities

  • Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies
  • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Qualify inbound leads from trade shows, demo requests, and MQL’s
  • Maintain and organize an annual book of business
  • Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of the Altana platform
  • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
