About The Position

Now Hiring: Experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) Location: [Columbus, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana/Remote/Hybrid] Company: General Parts, LLC Experience: 2+ years outbound BDR / SDR experience preferred This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for an experienced BDR who already knows how to create pipelines, handle rejection, and run a disciplined outbound motion — and wants to get even better. Preferably with a background in the Food Service Industry If you’ve been through cold calls, quiet weeks, tough prospects, and still show up with consistency, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • 2+ years as a BDR/SDR in an outbound environment
  • Hands-on experience using CRM daily (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
  • Comfortable tracking activity, managing follow-ups, and keeping clean pipeline data
  • Can clearly explain how you generate meetings
  • Stay consistent even when prospects don’t respond
  • Want to be coached and improve week over week
  • Care about doing the job the right way, not just hitting activity numbers

  • Treat the CRM as a performance tool, not an admin task
  • Strong account research before outreach
  • Clear, confident first conversations
  • Structured follow-up (not hope-based selling)

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting into targeted accounts
  • Build pipeline through cold calls, email, and internal reports
  • Research accounts and tailor messaging to real business problems
  • Book qualified meetings and set up clean handoffs to operations
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and follow-ups in a CRM
  • Use CRM and sales tools to run an organized, repeatable process
  • Take coaching seriously and apply feedback quickly

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 – $100,000+

  • Commission & Incentives: Uncapped, tied to qualified meetings generated and pipeline sourced
  • Expected On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 – $110,000+ for experienced performers
