About The Position

Principles Recovery Center is hiring a Business Development Representative to grow our referral network and drive admissions across South Florida. You'll build relationships with hospitals, therapists, detox programs, and community providers — educating partners on our programming and connecting people in crisis to the care they need. This role fits a range of experience levels: what matters most is that you're relationship-driven, credible in clinical settings, and motivated by mission. Principles Recovery Center is an adult PHP and IOP program in South Florida serving individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. This role sits at the front of our growth engine — and directly impacts who gets access to care.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years in a relationship-facing role — outreach, admissions, case management, sales, recruiting, or healthcare — we hire based on potential and track record, not title
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, follow through, and manage a relationship pipeline with consistency
  • Comfort communicating in clinical environments — you can speak to providers credibly and translate programming in plain language
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
  • Self-directed with strong time management across a field-based, autonomous schedule
  • Genuine connection to behavioral health and the SUD/co-occurring treatment space
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass Level 2 background screening

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a consistent relationship schedule with referral partners across your assigned South Florida territory
  • Visit hospitals, detox facilities, outpatient providers, therapists, and community organizations to develop and strengthen partnerships
  • Educate referral sources on PRC's levels of care, clinical programming, and admissions process
  • Represent PRC at professional events, health fairs, and community networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to track referral activity and support smooth intake transitions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records on all contacts and outreach activity — same day, every time
  • Develop monthly territory plans and contribute to quarterly business development strategy
  • Monitor the South Florida behavioral health landscape and surface trends and opportunities to leadership
