About The Position

Our client is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new business and build strong relationships in the insurance and technology sectors. The role involves prospecting, lead generation, and solution selling to senior decision-makers, with a focus on Carriers, MGAs, and ISO.

Requirements

  • 23+ years of business development experience, preferably in software solutions for the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of technology consulting, digital transformation, and B2B sales.
  • Proven ability to sell to CTOs, CIOs, and senior executives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Based in Chicago, Florida, or NYC, with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients through outbound efforts, networking, and industry events.
  • Qualify leads and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to deal closure.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies, leveraging market insights and competitor research.
  • Work closely with marketing to refine outreach and brand positioning.
  • Maintain a structured pipeline and track performance metrics.
