About The Position

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to lead growth efforts. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with facilities, hospitals, and physician offices, while communicating with the referral/admission coordinators. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the hospice landscape, a proven track record, and the ability to build trusted relationships with medical professionals. The ideal candidate is a team player with a heart for patients and families offering the best care available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a hospice, healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed (up to 50%)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with value-based care models, EMRs, and healthcare compliance regulation

Responsibilities

  • Drive New Business: Identify and develop new primary care opportunities in the assisted living space through strategic prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, practice administrators, and other key decision-makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute go-to-market strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with healthcare providers, ensuring mutual value and alignment.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within primary care.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to align offerings with client needs.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.
