Our Strategic Sales and Success team works with most of the world’s leading frontier AI model creators on one of their highest priority initiatives. The role As a Business Development Representative (MDR) at Prolific, you’ll be at the forefront of driving new customer growth among the world’s most innovative AI pioneers. With a customer list that already includes most of the best-known AI model creators as well as thousands of college researchers, Prolific has a strong track record around the globe. Our Business Development team opens additional doors in our accounts to expand our footprint in a quickly-growing industry. Based in San Francisco, this role is ideal for someone excited to engage with AI labs, enterprise corporations, and organizations that leverage human-in-the-loop systems.

Requirements

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand an individual stakeholder’s needs to tailor messaging for them
  • A passion for AI and emerging technologies, with curiosity about how companies build and improve models and agents with research and human feedback
  • 2+ years of experience in business/market development and/or B2B sales, ideally working with research, engineering, or product buyers
  • Strong discovery instincts and curiosity, with comfort navigating ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
  • Familiarity with GTM platforms commonly used for CRM, revenue orchestration, etc

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Account Executives and Marketing professionals at Prolific to develop and execute outbound strategies for Strategic accounts
  • Running personalized outreach across four core stakeholder personas: AI Researchers, Technical Program Managers, Product / User Experience leaders, and AI Executives
  • Engaging in conversations with stakeholders, informed by customer use cases, industry trends, and best practices to pique their interest in Prolific’s unique differentiators and value drivers
  • Sharing voice-of-customer insights with marketing, product, and sales leadership to refine our GTM playbooks
  • Representing Prolific with authenticity and precision in every interaction, leaving stakeholders more informed and open to engaging with us
  • Collaborating in person in our San Francisco office at least 1-2 days per week (as well as occasional events, conferences, and trips to other Prolific offices)
