About The Position

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team, reporting to the Head of Business Development for North America. In this role, you'll receive hands-on sales coaching while supporting our growth in private capital markets, with the goal of moving into a quota-bearing sales role at Nasdaq. You'll fit right in if you're curious, eager to learn, and energized by building relationships with senior executives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.
  • Results-driven mindset and comfort working in a performance-based environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of finance, investment management, or capital markets.
  • Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or private markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the senior sales team to identify and pursue key growth opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in Nasdaq's Private Fund Solutions and share insights with clients and prospects.
  • Contact senior executives to arrange meetings and drive interest in solution demos.
  • Monitor capital markets trends and build deep knowledge of private markets and investor relations.
  • Manage outbound campaigns across the region and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
