About The Position

Air Technologies, a premier provider of Mechanical/ HVAC Services in the greater Oklahoma area, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Representative to lead our continued growth in the Oklahoma City, OK office! Our ideal candidate will have a heart of service; they will inspire, engineer, and cultivate Air Technologies continued growth in a positive and impactful fashion. They will drive company goals, estimate commercial mechanical projects ranging from $400k - $3 million, manage relationships of our clients and vendors, and incorporate our vision and business strategy by providing Proactive World Class Service. This position will maintain a portfolio of multiple mechanical services projects by reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, contacting supplies for pricing and other documentation needed to prepare a timely and accurate estimate of labor and cost. AIR Technologies’ service line offerings include a full range of Design-Build services, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Piping Services, Building Management Systems, Welding, Refrigerant Conservation and Computer Room Air Conditioning Design, Installation, and Service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of estimating and proposal experience for commercial mechanical projects.
  • A successful candidate must have the ability to provide a complete commercial mechanical construction estimate and proposal for either plan/spec or design/build projects including plumbing, hydronic piping, equipment identification, and sheet metal work.
  • Great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills; customer focused and disciplined.
  • Computer and technology knowledge is a must; basic working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

  • Must perform all aspects of developing preliminary and /or definitive detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials and equipment associated with mechanical construction projects encompassing plumbing, hydronic/weld piping, equipment identification, and sheet metal.
  • Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing for compliance with project specifications and drawings.
  • Obtain drawings from General Contractors and distribute them to necessary personnel.
  • Attend pre-bid site meetings, verify site conditions and interface with Owners, Developers and General Contractors.
  • Electronically maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
  • Assist, organize and prioritize work in conjunction with sales engineers.
  • Must be a team player and self-starter.
